As a Quality Technician at Marten Machining, you will support production and quality control functions as they relate to customer requirements. Providing insight to machinists so that part conformity is maintained, you will use inspection data and perform visual inspection to identify trends and maintain manufacturing data.  You will also have the chance to operate our Vision coordinate measuring machines (VCMM) to setup programs that measure parts for in-process and final part inspection. Maintaining vendor records that comply with ISO 9001 standards and validating all necessary processes have been completed to release parts to shipping will also be your responsibility.

What we are seeking:

  • Experience with manufacturing process along with attention to detail
  • Associate degree or technical diploma in a related field
  • Skills that use and interpret Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) concepts
  • Experience with root-cause analysis and deductive reasoning
  • Proficient using basic manual measuring tools for inspection
  • Familiarity with accurately documenting manufacturing processes
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
  • Support of continual improvement
