Addition of New C30U Milling Machining to Automation Cell

In December 2011 Marten Machining received and installed a new Hermle C30U machining center. The machine was added to an existing Erowa pallet automation cell with a sister C30U machine that has been running since 2007.

Like the other C30U machines already in the automation cells the new machine is a fully integrated 5‐ axis milling machine and also has an extended tool magazine. An enhancement over previous machines was the addition of the coolant pressure through the spindle which will help to increase tool performance and tool life as well as reduce cycle times.
